CITY OF JASPER ANIMAL CONTROL
Any pet caught running at large in the City of Jasper without some form of identification will be transferred to the Pickens County Animal Shelter.
The definition of At Large according to the City Ordinances is:
At Large means off the premises of the owner and not under the control of the owner, a member of his immediate family or some other person either by leash, cord, chain, other holding device or complete verbal control.
Please do not drop off large birds (ducks and geese) at the Jasper City Park (aka Duck Pond). Contact Lonnie Waters, City of Jasper Animal Control Officer to relocate them at 706-299-0139.
